WHO WE ARE

The Chartered Institute of Inventory Control Management Professionals, CIICMP, is a professional body that will equip personnel to become professionals in the efficient and effective inventory management and control.

All parties in the business chain sees inventory as cash in stock and also current assets. Inventory is a capital investment to suppliers,  manufacturers, distributors and retailers. It is very important that the personnel with official duties to manage inventory are professionally trained in line with the standard and ethics applicable in the management of inventory and control.

The Chartered Institute of Inventory Control Management Professionals understands the importance of inventory management and control in the supply chain system of an organization. It is non- arguable that when inventory move, money also move. The safety and accuracy of inventories becomes the centre point of focus for inventory control management professionals.

The Chartered Institute of Inventory Control Management Professionals is an offshoot of the Association of Inventory and Distribution Professionals of Nigeria. The Board of Trustees of the Association of Inventory and distribution Professionals of Nigeria decided to upgrade the Association to Chartered-ship with the name Chartered Institute of Inventory Control Management professionals.
