The Chartered Institute of Inventory Control Management Professionals is an offshoot of the Association of Inventory and Distribution Professionals of Nigeria. The Board of Trustees of the Association of Inventory and Distribution Professionals of Nigeria decided to upgrade the Association to Chartered-ship with the name Chartered Institute of Inventory Control Management Professionals.

CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION

The Association of Inventory and Distribution Professionals of Nigeria is a professional body duly registered in Nigeria in full compliance with the Companies and Allied Matters Act, CAMA 1990. It is incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission with Incorporation Number CAC/IT/NO109383. It is registered as a professional corporate body that will engage in the management of inventory, logistics, operations, purchase, supply stores, materials, warehousing, transportation and distribution.

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

The Chartered Institute of Inventory Control Management Professionals is established under the Chartered-ship House Bill No. 1042, 2020. It is established as a chartered professional body that will engage in inventory management, inventory control; inventory auditing, inventory supply, inventory logistics and transport, inventory warehousing and stores.

1. The Chartered Institute of Inventory Control Management Professionals is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Operations and Supply Chain Management USA. CIOSCM USA is a global professional body for operations and supply chain management professionals worldwide.
2. The Chartered Institute of Inventory Control Management Professionals is a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Logistics Professionals. CIPLP is an American Chartered Professional body for procurement and Logistics professionals
